Hearing Aid Styles
If a hearing loss is diagnosed, hearing aids may be recommended. During the appointment, your Audiologist will discuss the following with you to determine the best fit hearing aid for you:

Custom Hearing Aids
Small, custom-made hearing aids which can be in the canal or in the ear.
Behind The Ear
With this style of hearing aid, the electronics sit behind your ear with either a standard tube or slim tube running down the front of the ear. There is a custom-made mould or dome on the end which sits in the ear.
Receiver In the Canal
The electronics sit behind the ear in this style of aid with a discreet wire running down the front of the ear. The speaker sits in the ear and has a custom tip or a dome on the end. This is a vert popular style as it suits many types of hearing loss and are very discreet sitting on the ear.
